Letter of Appreciation to Jakprints

Hello Prints of Jak!

Yes indeed, quote received. I’ve passed the pricing onto my client and am awaiting his response. We do a lot of our projects with Jakprints and in many cases it’s the only quote we seek. This was one of those occasions.

Many of my clients, mostly small businesses, are able to have print collateral and advertising thanks to Jakprints and its value and quality. So thank you! As always, you get my ringing endorsement.

Thanks for everything and don’t stop!

Alicia,

“I’m very excited to work with you and Jakprints, and I’ll take this opportunity to thank you for your business. It has always been important for us to associate ourselves with well-respected brands, that have great things to offer the “middle class” of musicians…”

Best,

Steve

The Second Annual
Rockport Film Festival
Rockport, Texas

November 6-8, 2008

The Rockport Film Festival’s mission is to celebrate the power of cinema on the Texas Coast. The festival provides a venue for independent filmmaking to be seen, heard and discussed in one of America’s top 10 coastal art colonies. A partnership between Rockport Center for the Arts and the Rockport Rotary Club, both cultural creativity and humanitarian collaboration are covered by the Rockport Film Festival.

In 2007 the Inaugural Rockport Film Festival received over 150 entries and screened more than 50 films from Texas, across America, as well as Germany, Italy, France, Mexico, and more. Over a dozen filmmakers and industry professionals gathered with local artists and audiences in Rockport for a weekend of rarely seen documentaries, narratives, animated, student and short films. Guest speakers and panel discussion opened up conversations and awareness of why film festivals are such a positive experience for local communities and the film community at large.

Artchitecture Gallery
is proud to present:

A solo exhibition by Matthew Ryan Sharp
The Approachable Darkness
3 October – 14 November 2008

Opening reception 7-10 pm,
Friday, October 3, 2008

Matthew Ryan Sharp emerges from seclusion with The Approachable Darkness, a culmination of his past year’s work. On exhibition are grim portraits of our current state; generations chained to workstations, lazily dreaming of more money, more power, and more say, but too demotivated to take action. His characters represent the lethargies of this American life; clowns and corporate stiffs and the like in between. Using surfaces such as weathered woods and metals, and acrylic and spray paints as his mediums, he has created a series of work inspired by the desires, fears and vices of the average Joe. Encouraged by dissolution and union, hardship and camaraderie, Matthew consistently strives to develop new methods for creating his art. His metaphoric character concepts continue to evolve over time, as does his message and technique.

Opening reception 7-10 pm tonight, Friday, 3 October 2008
