Black Clouds Aren’t A Bad Thing

Combine an obsession for learning with an education at a technical fashion school. Add to that her experience in theatrical costuming topped by a chance meeting with a New York fashion maven, and you have a small taste of how Heather Klar ended up in the midst of her current project, her own fashion line.

Heather had Jakprints produce these vinyl sticker hang tags to use in conjunction with this fashion line. She went for a custom sticker with a basic look. On the sticker face there is a custom kiss-cut in the shape of her cloud logo. The back liner is printed with her logo inverted into a black cloud that is raining down the essence of her clothing line.

Get To Know Mr. Serious

With moves like motor-scooter keyboard solos and high flying stage entrances you need a sticker that follows suit…

Mark Mallman did just that with this batch of foil stickers. He went with black ink on gold foil which gives the print great contrast. Check out the video for his single Invincible Criminal below.

Road Trippin’ with Ice Cream Man – Week 9

Our friend Ice Cream Man recently travelled though Cleveland and paid us a quick visit. He was on his way to Chicago for Lollapalooza, and seemed a little sad. Apparently, he was running out of stickers. We couldn’t stand to see those somber puppy dog eyes anymore so we got an order moving. Ice Cream Man had places to go, so while he was travelling, we started printing.

We shipped him a box of custom die cut EcoGreen Stickers. So now, along with free ice cream, he can continue to hand out free stickers, and in turn, add more smiles to more faces.

“Got the pop stickers, love em. Thanks for making ‘em. Gave away a bunch at the 6th annual ice cream social yesterday, the kids loved ‘em!”
- Ice Cream Man

Monolith Festival Project (PART 1)

September is creeping around the corner. That means back to school for some, but back to Monolith Festival for others! They’ve got some great bands lined up, including Mars Volta and Of Montreal. This year we’re helping them with several projects, one of which was their VIP Passes. These are each individually numbered, as well as foil stamped for authenticity.

Our Graphic Connect friends at Alphabet Arm did a sweet job (as expected) with this years design. We’ll keep you up to date as the other pieces for this project get wrapped up.

Chuck Mosley Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food

We produced this batch of custom 6 inch circular screenprinted stickers through Reversed Image Media for Chuck Mosley. As has been the trend they decided to go bigger than the average 3 or 4 inch circle with this sticker project. It’s durable as well so it will hold up in weather up to five years!

Mosley has been the front man of several well known bands over the years. Most notably is the alt-rock outfit Faith No More as well as the legendary hard core act Bad Brains. It has been said that even on hiatus he was a major influence on bands such as Korn, Limp Bizkit, and Disturbed.
Check out Chuck Mosely’s new album Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food which is currently available for pre-order. To get stickers like this for your rap-rock group (or any other project) you can visit the Jakprints Sticker Product page today!

Strhess Clothing Fall Collection Sneak Preview!

While putting together their newest Fall collection, our longtime friends at Sthress Clothing asked us to put together some different poly/cotton womens styles to test with dye sublimation (a process using pressurized heat to transfer ink to the garment). We tried out three unique styles from three unique manufacturers for the project and got amazing results with all of them.

Strhess “Rise” on American Apparel item #BB301

50/50 Cotton/Polyester construction, form-fitting with a slightly scooped neckline. This t-shirt is super comfy and feels like it’s been in your wardrobe for years.

Strhess “Nailed” on JS Apparel item #L1224

50/50 Cotton/Polyester Burnout construction, garment-dyed. This slinky t-shirt wears like a dream and has an alluring fit and style that will surely get you noticed.

Strhess “Nailed” on Bella item #8402

55/45 Cotton/Polyester construction, open neckline with capped sleeves and a fitted bodice. Custom grinding at edges of neckline, sleeve hems, and bottom hem plus vintage washing creates a worn-in look with an ultra-soft finish.

For more details regarding these apparel styles or for information on how to plan your project around using the dye sublimation print process, contact our knowledgeable sales staff today!
