Factory 13

Factory 13 experimental skateboard manufacturing is an independent company owned and operated by skateboarders. They design, manufacture, print, distribute, and ride the best skateboards in the world.
Factory 13 began on December 1st, 1999. Since then they have been exposing the world to the Cleveland punk style of skateboarding that is always raw. They recently re-settled on the west coast so all of their boards are now handmade at their shop in Long Beach California.
Check out this clip from Fuel TV’s visit to Factory 13 at their Ohio location for an insiders look at how they operate.
We produced these screenprinted 8 x 5.125 inch stickers for Factory 13. They went with two inks plus the white ink backer. The white ink backer is printed behind the other inks which ensures that the colors pop when applied to any color surface.
These stickers have a custom die-cut shape and are printed with UV stable inks so they are expected to last in weather for up to five years! To get your stickers today go the Jakprints Stickers page or give us a call at 877-246-3132.

Black Dahlia Murder “Deflorate” T-Shirts

We just printed another amazing and colorful t-shirt for metalcore sensation The Black Dahlia Murder. The design is based off the cover of their latest release “Deflorate”. We produced two versions: a 10 color simulation on white Alstyle #1901 shirts, and that same 10 color simulation using a white base on black shirts. We put together a quick video to give you a behind the scenes look at the making of it. The shirt and their new album “Deflorate” are available online at indiemerchstore.com.

Omicron Gets a Hand From Jakprints

We produced a set of custom screen-printed stickers for the design/build firm Omicron. They are a Canadian company that likes to handle things from start to finish. They have architects, designers, engineers, and builders all under one roof so that they can give their clients what they need on time and within budget.

From the looks of their projects it’s a system that ends with impressive results. To top it all off they show a bit of a green side with their O•Vert blog.
The stickers that we screen-printed are on 4 mil vinyl with UV stable inks. This product has an estimated lifespan of up to 5 years in weather. This makes for a vibrant print that is perfect for many applications from car bumpers to hardhats. You can even get a color change like the folks at Omicron did with this product!

Canadian deathcore band Despised Icon just released their new album “Day of Mourning”. As part of the promotion for the new release they are selling a package deal, including t-shirts printed at Jakprints. The shirts we produced are a full color reproduction of the album artwork, and we created both a white dye sublimation version, and a black silk screened version.

The One and Only Theatre Bizarre

Let me just put it like this: Masquerade, music, fire, leather, zombie-clowns, burlesque, conjoined twins, bullwhips, skeletons… in Detroit? I mean, come on! Do you get what I’m saying? Okay you’re just going to have to visit Theatre Bizarre and check out their Facebook or Myspace to understand. Or if you’re lucky enough, maybe you can score some tickets to go this October 24th.

We just finished printing the tickets and postcard invites for this years Theatre Bizarre. The tickets ran full color on our 13pt uncoated card stock (100% Recycled). The uncoated stock along with the artwork really ads to the vintage feel of the piece.

The postcard invites are printed with a 5th spot color, PMS 871 Gold. The metallic ink sets off these wonderfully detailed illustrations from artist John Dunivant. The cards also got a finishing touch with a 3/8 inch radius rounded corners, making them just like the virtual cards on TheatreBizarre.com.

The Bubble Process

Since they couldn’t find their dream jobs college buddies Sean Higgins and Nicholas Rezabek created their own. In 2006 they began The Bubble Process, a two man design and illustration firm. They specialize in screenprinted posters that are produced in limited runs. They have created posters (see below) for Bon Iver, Mogwai, Death Cab For Cutie, Au Revoir Simone, Andrew Bird, and The Breeders.

With one foot planted in Cleveland, Ohio and the other in Brooklyn, New York the guys behind The Bubble Process regularly come together by the magical link we know as the World Wide Web to share ideas, files, notes, and jokes.

We produced these foil stickers for The Bubble Process. They went with the reliable combination of black ink on silver foil. The black textured artwork contrasts against the silver, giving this one-color sticker a lot of dimension. Foil stickers can be used as labels, seals, or giveaways and are great for adding a little flash to your logo. Create yours today at Jakprints.com!
