Rockett Clothing – Sneak Peek

How does Rockett Clothing create such captivating, colorful designs for their clothing line? Apparently, since 2003, they have secluded themselves within a bunker in Redlands, California, where they watch a constant loop of 1980s movies such as “Rollerblade” and “Hell Comes To Frogtown“. After repeated viewings, I’m told that the inspiration flows like unstoppable, red-hot magma.

This featured shirt is part of Rockett Clothing’s upcoming new line, and was printed in 7 colors using soft inks. Hybrid soft inks work best on dark garments, because the color stays bright and vivid, while the printed areas remain soft to the touch. This design makes use of our oversized print area, with dimensions at 20×28 inches, the ink continues right off the collar. Here’s a breakdown of the colors used:

1 of 7 – soft ink white base
2 of 7 – Pantone 485
3 of 7 – Pantone 395
4 of 7 – Pantone 288
5 of 7 – Pantone 311
6 of 7 – Pantone Purple
7 of 7 – Pantone 360
