Jakprints’ Dan Byler Receives Holiday Ham From Scythian

Josef Crosby, of Irish-Gypsy influenced band, Scythian, was so taken by Dan’s accommodating and professional nature, that he sent Dan his very own holiday ham! We’re glad that Scythian are pleased with the level of service at Jakprints, and that they’re happy with the quality of their stickers. However, we are just a bit concerned about what receiving the ham has done to Dan.

At first glance, many Jakprinters thought Dan was merely carrying a briefcase, but as the aroma wafted through the air, people realized that Dan was in fact parading around with a holiday ham. He was so excited and proud about the applewood-smoked gesture from Scythian, that the ham did not leave his side for the remainder of the day. Phone calls, meetings, press checks, typing and more, were all performed with ham-in-hand.

The various 2-color vinyl stickers that we printed for Scythian: the catalyst for Dan’s holiday ham “thank you”.

Here’s a clip from youtube of the lads performing one of their crowd-pleasers, “Dance All Night”. Thanks again to Scythian for choosing Jakprints, and for being so gracious as to send us a holiday ham, you guys are the best!

Haha! So you are the people responsible for the stickers! My friend just shared this with me – that’s my sister’s video! As I sit here at work, I’m drinking out of my Kleen Kanteen that I put a Scythian sticker on at Sunflower Fest back in Oct. Even through many runs through the dishwasher, it still looks like new. My sons have enjoyed being “Sticker Boys” at Scythian shows (me too!). My youngest needs 6 stickers at shows that he has particular places for, including his armpits and his shins. I find these all over my house and it seems they turn up more often than lost socks in the laundry room! Thank you for helping to make Scythian’s shows so much fun. It wouldn’t be a Scythian show without the stickers!

That’s awesome Jackie! It’s cool knowing the stickers are holding up to your various tests. Dishwashers as well as armpits!? haha That’s a pretty full range! Thank your sister for the awesome vid, it was one of the best live clips of “Dance All Night”

Thank you for printing the stickers! Like Jackie said, it wouldn’t be a Scythian show without the stickers! And thanks for using my video. I like seeing them posted elsewhere.

I think when you promote your stickers you should inform everyone of the range of tests that the stickers have been put through: from armpits to dishwashers!

Woo thanks for the stickers what would we do without them? Certainly not have as much fun… As we have them every where and take extras to have to hand out for later. Yes Jackie and Katie they do hold up well!
Dan I am glad that you like Katie’s video and think you might enjoy this other creation of hers!
Thanks again for all you do for us Scythian fans!
    Cheers!

Haha, Yes! Katie, I think you are onto something! Jakprints Sticker marketing 2010: “armpits to dishwashers” – I can see some amazing photography complimenting the ads!
