Jakprints Visits The TransWorld Halloween & Attractions Show

Jakprinter Mike Hach, is not only an expert in printing, but he’s also an expert in all things haunted. He recently visited St. Louis, MO to attend The Halloween & Attractions Show to check out the latest and greatest, as well as visit with some Jakprints customers.

The HAA Show exhibits everything haunted from animatronics, masks, special effects, make-up and more. Basically, if it’s creepy, spooky, or scary, it’s at the show.

Mike saw Rodney from Nightscream Studios who was handing out copies of his latest catalog (printed through Jakprints of course!) Nightscream Studios create some amazing animated monsters and props; just look at his great display of scenic elements and monsters!

This is Brian Demski of Demski Creations, another fine artisan who creates macabre decor as well as other special effects and sculptures.

The folding business card Brian printed turned out excellent, and also doubles as a placard when displaying his artwork.

Film maker and make-up artist David H. Greathouse re-enacts the grizzly artwork from his postcard. His film Legion Of Terror is a documentary that captures the lives and neuroses of a dedicated and demented troupe of haunted house actors, and the funny true-life behind the scenes when the make-up comes off.  Mike also appears in his film during past haunt acting adventures.

One of the highlights for Mike, pictured here along with David H. Greathouse (still perfecting his Legion Of Terror expression) was meeting up with industry legend Robert Kurtzman, director, producer, writer and special effects creator. Check out Robert’s studio Precinct 13 Entertainment and new company Creature Corps, they’ve created some pretty awesome effects, costumes and creatures.
