Our next feature on the Jakprints Employee Spotlight is Justin Wilson. Justin works in our sales department as an Account Manager. It’s his job to help customers with every step of their project, from brainstorming what types of items and which specific products are best for them, all the way through finalizing their orders. To quote Justin “I’m here for the people.” In two years of service here Justin has had the chance to work with clients such as Freer and Sackler Gallery Shops (who handle the gift shops for the Smithsonian), The Boston Conservitory and the Wand Fight Team.

Color: Reflex Blue.
Food: Yes please.
Movie: There are so many! The Usual Suspects and The Big Lebowski are two I can watch over and over though.
Band/Musician: It depends on the day. My all-time favorites are Tom Waits, Firewater and Soul Coughing though.
Book/Author: “Cat’s Cradle” by Kurt Vonnegut and “Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World” by Haruki Murakami. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
What do you like to do on your free time? I play Ultimate Frisbee in two separate leagues, I collect and attempt to play odd musical instruments from around the world and putter away my time on the interwebs.
What would you do if you had a million dollars? Buy a boat large enough to live on and move to the Caribbean. I’d invest the rest and (hopefully) live on the interest while spending as much time as possible on the beach, waiting for people to ask what I do for a living so I can slowly look around and say “this.”
If you could travel to one place in the world where and why? Despite the radiation worries, I still really want to go to Japan. It’s a culture with so much going for it; art, respect for nature and other people, a great sense of humor… plus I want to see what the future is going to be like.
Why do you choose to work at Jakprints? The people. We have the best team of any company anywhere, hands down.
What are some interesting projects you’ve been a part of? I have so many creative customers I have something to look forward to almost every day. I’ve had print jobs for a few mixed martial arts legends that were pretty fun.
What are your favorite aspects of what you do at Jakprints? I never have the same day twice. There are always new problems to solve, new people to meet and I love watching a project grow from the initial concept to the final finished product.
