It was a brisk October evening, with nightfall fast approaching. Our friends at PureButtons LLC were busy wrapping up their move to a brand new location, and needed our help. Jakprints’ own Dan Byler headed by to install four window-perf decals we had just printed, the final touch to their professional and enticing new store front.
But at this time of year there are all types of ghoulish creatures out after dusk. So when Dan made the evening trek out to PureButtons for the install, he knew he had to work fast.
Checking through his supplies, he made sure he didn’t forget anything:
Decals… check
Window cleaner… check
Squeegee… check
Holy water… check
Garlic… check
Silver bullets… check
He was ready to begin.
Dan began by lining up the first decal. He knew that the install must happen quickly so as to avoid any unnatural “incidents”. He also knew that Jeff, the owner of PureButtons, has an eye for detail so there was a fine line to walk.
Dan squeegeed the decal in a calm and calculated manner, “One down… three to go,” he quietly whispered, attempting to calm his nerves.
With daylight fading, Dan began prepping the third window. (Wait… what was that?) “It’s just the wind, just the wind,” he reassured himself. There was not much time left…
Shrouded by darkness, the install continued. “Just one more to go,” Dan kept thinking. Beads of sweat were overtaken by the cold chill of night. A consummate professional, Dan set aside his own fear for the betterment of the customer. He completed the final decal, and gathered his tools. As he headed out, he couldn’t shake that feeling that he was being watched, but Dan was glad to get the job done properly, and make it out in one piece.
Here we have the finished windows in daylight. Thanks to Jeff at PureButtons for a great project and to our own Dan Byler for his brave October night install!

Factory 13 experimental skateboard manufacturing is an independent company owned and operated by skateboarders. They design, manufacture, print, distribute, and ride the best skateboards in the world.
Factory 13 began on December 1st, 1999. Since then they have been exposing the world to the Cleveland punk style of skateboarding that is always raw. They recently re-settled on the west coast so all of their boards are now handmade at their shop in Long Beach California.
Check out this clip from Fuel TV’s visit to Factory 13 at their Ohio location for an insiders look at how they operate.
We produced these screenprinted 8 x 5.125 inch stickers for Factory 13. They went with two inks plus the white ink backer. The white ink backer is printed behind the other inks which ensures that the colors pop when applied to any color surface.
These stickers have a custom die-cut shape and are printed with UV stable inks so they are expected to last in weather for up to five years! To get your stickers today go the Jakprints Stickers page or give us a call at 877-246-3132.
Since they couldn’t find their dream jobs college buddies Sean Higgins and Nicholas Rezabek created their own. In 2006 they began The Bubble Process, a two man design and illustration firm. They specialize in screenprinted posters that are produced in limited runs. They have created posters (see below) for Bon Iver, Mogwai, Death Cab For Cutie, Au Revoir Simone, Andrew Bird, and The Breeders.
With one foot planted in Cleveland, Ohio and the other in Brooklyn, New York the guys behind The Bubble Process regularly come together by the magical link we know as the World Wide Web to share ideas, files, notes, and jokes.
We produced these foil stickers for The Bubble Process. They went with the reliable combination of black ink on silver foil. The black textured artwork contrasts against the silver, giving this one-color sticker a lot of dimension. Foil stickers can be used as labels, seals, or giveaways and are great for adding a little flash to your logo. Create yours today at Jakprints.com!

Combine an obsession for learning with an education at a technical fashion school. Add to that her experience in theatrical costuming topped by a chance meeting with a New York fashion maven, and you have a small taste of how Heather Klar ended up in the midst of her current project, her own fashion line.
Heather had Jakprints produce these vinyl sticker hang tags to use in conjunction with this fashion line. She went for a custom sticker with a basic look. On the sticker face there is a custom kiss-cut in the shape of her cloud logo. The back liner is printed with her logo inverted into a black cloud that is raining down the essence of her clothing line.
