Our friends over at Flashes of Hope/Kick–it do some pretty great things to raise funds for pediatric cancer research. Check out these awesome shirts for a recent event featuring NASCAR superstar Jeff Gordon!
Flashes of Hope raises funds for pediatric cancer research through many unique events, one of which took place August 6 in Knoxville, Iowa. The Kick-It/Weld Racing Go–Kart Spectacular gave race fans the opportunity to race (and wreck) NASCAR drivers Gordon, Kasey Kahne, Kyle Larson and Tony Stewart.
Fifty lucky fans got a chance to try their hand against the NASCAR greats at the Slideways Karting Center. After eight heat races, a last chance race and a 20–lap final event, Jeff Gordon took home the checkered flag, raising nearly $25,000 for Flashes of Hope and the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation.
